Black Tea accounts for nine-tenths of all the
teas sold in the Western Hemisphere. Preserving its flavor longer than any other
tea, Black Tea survived the months-long voyages along the trade routes and sea
lanes of the late 1600s between Europe and Asia. Since then it has been the
premier tea of Europeans and Americans.
